The remodel of the Brownsville Recreation Center followed a wholistic process beginning with project scope programming, budget analysis, and concept design leading to Woodblock’s assembling of a complete project team for coordinated project execution.

The City of Brownsville Recreation Center breathes fresh air into an old, beloved community structure with limited budget. Aesthetic elements were detailed with care to ensure proper contractor execution. The design team navigated this project strategically to minimize costs through material selection and selective scope identification. Cost checks were also implemented at significant milestones with the pre-construction general contractor and the selected general contractor to verify the project remained on budget.
